As part of the implementation of industry promotion programmes, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency promotes the Polish yacht and boat sector during the five days of the 26th Dubai International Boat Show in the UAE.
At the fair there are a lot of representatives of the world’s largest brands and customers ready to spend millions of dollars. - Dubai and this trade fair is a place where it is important to promote mainly luxury goods, therefore Polish yachts have their chance here - said Robert Zawadzki, responsible for the implementation of industry promotion programmes at PAIH. - The Polish information and promotion stand is very popular among visitors of the fair - he added.
The stands of our domestic companies are also very popular, including:
- Sunreef Yachts with amazing catamarans
- La Mare with the offer of houses on the water,
- Deep Ocean Technology with the vision of an underwater hotel,
- Parker Poland with motor boats,
- Galeon producing mega yachts.
As it turned out, the national stand is not only a meeting place for the yacht sector, but also for business representatives operating in Dubai and visiting the fair in order to establish contacts. On the first day of the fair, Polish Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Robert Rostek, visited the Polish stand.
During the second day we organised a press briefing. Foreign journalists not only listened to information about the huge Polish potential in the production of yachts and boats, but also visited Polish companies and set foot onboard Polish yachts.
In Poland there are about 22,000 yachts manufactured annually. The specialty of our industry are motor yachts with a length of 6–9 m. Poland is the second-largest manufacturer in this category, following the United States. Due to low domestic demand, over 95% of this production is exported. Polish yachts and boats are associated with high quality. More and more buyers of luxury goods, not only from Europe, but also from around the world, appreciate Polish products.
