In addition to the broadly understood maritime leisure sector, the fair is also presented by the Superyachts, marinas, and composites. The event takes place in three specialized pavilions.
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency implementing the program "Promotion of the economy based on Polish product brands" will organize a national stand, which we invite all Polish entrepreneurs to visit. Stand No. 275 will be located on Hall 5 (05.275).
On the first day of the fair, on November 13, at 4pm., a press conference for representatives of industry media will be organized at the Polish stand. The conference will be led by Michał Bąk - Secretary General of the Polboat Chamber, presenting the potential of the Polish yacht industry. The event will be honored by the presence of the Polish Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr Marcin Czepelak.
In Poland, 22,000 yachts are produced annually. Our domestic producers specialize in motor boats from 6 to 9 meters long and in this sector they occupy the second place in the world after the United States. The Norwegians are the leaders among the buyers of Polish yachts and boats. Only in 2016 they bought Polish sailing ships worth 70 million euros. The second and third place is occupied by the French (with a total export value of EUR 46 million in 2016) and Germany (EUR 44 million), respectively. The total value of exported Polish yachts in 2016 amounted to almost EUR 350 million.
