During the SJOEN FOR ALLE fair, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency organized a Polish national stand, which was used to promote the Polish yacht and boat sector. We offered Polish companies free forms of promotion, including distributing information materials or displaying promotional films.

A press conference for representatives of industry media took place on the first day of the fair. The guests were welcomed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Norway, Ms. Iwona Woicka-Żuławska, and then a representative of the Polish Chamber of Yacht Industry and Water Sports - Michał Bąk presented information and interesting facts about the Polish yacht industry.

During the press briefing, as well as during the other days of the fair, everyone interested could learn more about the potential of the Polish yacht and boat industry and obtain information about the offer of our domestic producers of yachts, boats, parts, equipment and services related to this sector.

This is an activity carried out by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency under the "Promotion of the economy based on Polish product brands" program. Similarly, Polish yachts and boats are promoted in the Netherlands, Norway, the United States, United Arab Emirates, Australia.

In Poland, 22,000 yachts are manufactured annually. Our domestic manufacturers specialise in motor boats of 6 to 9 meters in length and in this sector they are ranked 2nd worldwide, after the United States. The unrivalled leaders among buyers of Polish yachts and boats are Norwegians. Only in 2016, they purchased Polish sailing vessels worth EUR 70 million. The second and third place go to the French (with the total export value of EUR 46 million in 2016) and Germans (EUR 44 million), respectively. The total value of exported Polish yachts was almost EUR 350 million in 2016.
